Elana Mutnick is a third-year journalism student at the University of Maryland with a focus in broadcast journalism. She chose to pursue this career path to combine her love for writing and performing, which have been an integral part of her life since grade school. Elana is currently an associate producer for her school’s sports media organization, Terrapin Sports Central, a video reporter for the independent newspaper associated with her school, The Diamondback, a staff writer and photographer for The Campus Trainer, and the current treasurer for the Association for Women in Sports Media at Maryland. This summer, she interned for Make Plays Media as a production intern for the digital baseball show, Foul Territory. Elana is actively seeking opportunities in the journalism industry to learn more about anchoring, reporting, writing, and more.
