Elana Mutnick is a senior at the University of Maryland with a focus in broadcast journalism. She chose to pursue this career path to combine her love for writing and reporting, which have been an integral part of her life since grade school. This past summer, Elana interned for CBS News as a CBS Mornings Intern in New York City. She is currently the video editor for the independent newspaper associated with her school, The Diamondback, an associate producer for her school’s sports media organization, Terrapin Sports Central, a staff writer and photographer for The Campus Trainer, and the current Vice President for the Association for Women in Sports Media at Maryland. Last summer, she interned for Make Plays Media as a production intern for the digital baseball show, Foul Territory. Elana is actively seeking opportunities in the journalism industry to learn more about anchoring, reporting, writing, editing, and more.
